Final Countdown!
Final grades are due on June 6 which means there are only 5 weeks left of the school year. To ensure that you finish strong and pass all of your classes, it is crucial that you do the following:
1. Check your student portal and Google Classroom daily
View due dates and ensure assignments are submitted on time
Check your grades regularly to catch any errors or missing work
Review feedback from teachers and use it to improve your next assignments
Set reminders or use a planner to stay organized
2. Communicate with your teachers
If you don’t understand a concept, ask them to explain it in a different way
If you’re falling behind, let them know ASAP so they can help you
Ask about extra credit opportunities or ways to raise your grade (if permitted)
Know their policy on late work and extensions—don’t assume!
3. Manage your time wisely
Break big assignments into smaller tasks
Prioritize what's due soonest or what’s worth the most points
Avoid procrastination by setting specific goals each day
