Principal’s Message:
This Quarter we celebrate the Class of 2025! Throughout the next few weeks, we will highlight all of the Senior activities quickly approaching. As a reminder to all Seniors, grades will be submitted on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
At Hoover we encourage all of our students to “Dream Big, Achieve More!”
I encourage all of our students to strive to do their very best everyday, build lasting relationships, and be engaged in all activities.
At Hoover we believe all students should be respectful, responsible, and engaged everyday! Students are expected to be in class on time everyday and follow our new cell phone and electronics policy. Violations of these policies will lead to consequences.
At Hoover, we continue to promote a College-Going Culture. Our mission is to ensure that all students graduate meeting the minimum requirements for college access. This will be accomplished through increasing access to rigorous course offerings and promoting academic engagement.
Over the next two weeks, our Juniors will be taking the CAASPP State Assessment. Please see below for the bell schedule. We wish all of our Juniors the best of luck on the assessment. We know that you will rock it!!!!
Attendance is important!!! We know that when students are in school, students achieve! I want to share with our Hoover Community that our attendance data does not reflect our shared commitment to ensuring students are in school everyday. We need your help!!! We highly encourage any appointments are scheduled outside of school hours so as not to miss instruction. However, if your child has an appointment, please ensure that your child still attends school outside of their appointment time, even if they are only able to attend some periods. We want to see your child every day even if it is only a portion of the school day. Please call an administrator for any questions.
Our Spring Season is starting this week. We encourage all of our students to support our Softball, Baseball, Boys and Girls Track, Boys and Girls Swim, Boys Volleyball, and Boys Tennis programs during their season. Additionally, please continue to support our Award winning Hoover Tornado Marching Band, Choir, and Pep programs as they continue to compete and represent Hoover!
Our Annual Pep Show will be Thursday and Friday night at 7 PM. Also, on Friday, our instrumental music showcase will take place in the main gym.
As a reminder to all students and families, at Hoover we promote a safe and inclusive environment for all students and staff. We have no tolerance for any hate speech or hurtful language. Any students using such language will receive serious consequences.
As always, Tornados are Responsible, Respectful, and Engaged!
