WHAT IS THE EARLY COLLEGE ACADEMY?
Hoover’s Early College Academy (ECA) offers an exclusive opportunity for students to earn a high school diploma and up to 2 years of college coursework for FREE – saving time and money.
ECA is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors who demonstrate maturity, independence, and curiosity.
*College credits earned through the program can apply toward an AA/AS degree at Glendale Community College or transfer to a university, fulfilling A-G admission requirements for 4-year colleges.
Recognized with the prestigious Golden Bell Award, ECA prepares students for success through college classes built into their high school schedule.
HOW CAN MY STUDENT APPLY?
Freshmen (9th grade) can apply to be a part of this program for their sophomore year by applying online. The ECA application's due date varies from year to year. Please go to glendale.edu/eca for more details.
*Additional coursework may be required if students also plan on completing an associate’s degree by the end of the program. Some private and independent colleges/ universities may not accept dual credit courses. For more information, please contact individual institutions directly.
