Good Evening Hoover Families,

As we look ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, we want to help your child prepare for a successful start. Please see the important information below—including Welcome Week (student registration dates), the first day of school, and special details for our incoming freshmen.

📆 Student Registration Schedule

All registrations take place from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM:
  • Class of 2027 (Seniors): Monday, August 10
  • Class of 2028 (Juniors): Tuesday, August 11
  • Class of 2029 (Sophomores): Wednesday, August 12
  • Class of 2030 (Freshmen): Thursday, August 13
During registration, students will:
✅ Take their school ID and yearbook photo
✅ Receive their final class schedule
✅ Pick up textbooks for the year

👨‍👩‍👧 Parent Forums at Registration

Each morning at 9:00 AM, I will be hosting a Parent Forum in person. These sessions are a great opportunity to:
  • Learn more about Hoover’s programs and support systems
  • Hear important updates for the upcoming school year
  • Ask questions and connect with other parents

🌟 Special Welcome for Freshmen

Freshman Registration Day – Thursday, August 13 – includes all standard registration activities, plus:
  • Meet and connect with fellow classmates
  • Take a guided tour of campus
  • Explore clubs and student life opportunities
  • Join fun welcome events designed just for 9th graders

📸 Picture Day Info

Picture Day will take place during Registration, August 10–13
Pre-order your photos at mylifetouch.com using Picture Day ID: EVTRGC8BW
🌟 Order before midnight on Picture Day. Students may also bring a completed flyer and payment (cash or check) on Picture Day. Afterward, all orders must be placed online.

🛍️ ASB Card and PE Clothes at Registration

  • ASB Card: $50
    • Free entry to all sporting events
    • Discounts on dance tickets
    • Additional savings throughout the school year
  • PE Clothes: $40
    • Purchase early and pick up during registration!
